What a Bangalore trip really costs
Return Bengaluru–Port Blair airfare is typically ₹12,000–₹22,000 per person depending on how far ahead you book and whether you are travelling in the December–January peak. Below is the land cost on top of that, per person on twin sharing.
Booking terms worth checking anywhere
- Nobody should ask for the full amount upfront — payments stage against confirmations
- Ferry class and hotel category should be named in writing, not described as 'deluxe'
- Ask what the service fee is; if the agency cannot separate it from the hotel cost, the number is not transparent

Frequently asked questions
How much does an Andaman trip from Bangalore cost per person?
For six nights on twin sharing, budget roughly ₹32,000 per person for comfort-tier land arrangements, ₹47,000 for premium beachfront resorts and ₹78,000 and above for luxury, plus return Bengaluru–Port Blair airfare of roughly ₹12,000–₹22,000 depending on how early you book.
How many days are enough for an Andaman trip?
Five nights is the practical minimum for Port Blair and Havelock. Six or seven nights lets you add Neil Island without spending every other day on a ferry. Fewer than five and the flight days eat the holiday.
What is the best time to visit the Andamans from Bangalore?
October to May has the calmest seas and the most reliable ferries, with December and January the busiest and priciest. June to September is monsoon: significantly cheaper, still beautiful, but plan for the odd cancelled sailing.
Is a permit required for Indian travellers?
No permit is needed for Indian nationals visiting Port Blair, Havelock (Swaraj Dweep) or Neil (Shaheed Dweep). Foreign nationals need a Restricted Area Permit, issued on arrival at Port Blair airport.
Do I have to pay the full package amount in advance?
Not with us. You pay a booking advance, a milestone once hotels and ferries are confirmed in writing, and the balance before travel. Any agency demanding 100% upfront before showing confirmations is asking you to carry their risk.
Are flights included in your packages?
They can be. We quote airfare as a separate visible line so you can either let us book it or book it yourself on points — the itinerary and the land arrangements do not change either way.
